We've run across many strange and unusual microcars and minicars over the last 15 years or so that our club has been around. This month we decided to put up a mystery microcar on our blog, as we occasionally do in our quarterly club magazine. Does anyone out there have an idea what it could be. If so just click the comments on the bottom of the post.
Just come across your blog (only four years late!) The car is a British Cleco from the mid 1930s, I believe. It was tiny, with a wheelbase of 6 foot 4 inches, and a claimed range of 90 miles, but at a speed of 14mph. It was expensive, at £375, and only six were sold. Regards, David
This blog started as a supplement to a quarterly print newsletter, MINUTIA.
Well...the Microcar & Minicar Club folded several years ago. And with it, the quarterly newsletter ceased publication. So, there's no club, and no newsletter. But that doesn't mean that the club's online presence needs to end.
I've decided to "resurrect" the blog portion, and start some postings. If you like them...great. If you don't...well, it's not like you're paying for this.
If you have ever used a "blog," this will be old news.
Comments can be posted to the various sections of MINUTIA Online by clicking on the link at the bottom that lists the number of comments that have been made.
